How to: Reassign an Invitation to a New User (IEC)

Please Note: *You can only reassign a YouScience invitation if it has not been activated by the user yet.

  1. Log into your YouScience account and go to your Admin Dashboard.
  2. If you have more than one organization, be sure to click the account you want to be in. You will find your organizations listed in the top left corner of your screen.
  3. Find the original invitation you want to reassign by clicking the student’s name.
  4. Select “Update Invitation” in green.
  5. Edit the first and last name as well as the email to the student you are reassigning the invitation to.
  6. Select “Update” in green. This will save your changes.
  7. Now the invitation has been reassigned, and an invite will be sent to the new student.

Note:

To find the student you want to reassign , there are two ways of doing this:

Option 1:

If you know the name of the specific student who’s invitation you want to reassign, you can search for them by typing their first and last name in the “Search Student Profile” box in the top right corner of your page.

Option 2:

Select “Manage Groups”

Select “View Group” in green for the group you would like to view.

Select the “Pending Invitations” tab to see all of the students who have not yet activated their invitation.

Select a student’s name who’s invitation you would like to resign.
